A Kurdish immigrant reacts to physical closeness with violence. His eleven-year old daughter forces him unknowingly to face up to his traumatic past.

STEPHANIE BLUM

Née en 1981, à Hambourg, elle entre, après ses études secondaires, comme stagiaire en montage de documentaires à la Spiegel TV GmbH, à Hambourg et à Berlin et également à la RTL, à Berlin. Elle a ensuite travaillé comme monteuse à Spiegel-TV tout en entreprenant des études de droit. Par la suite, elle s’inscrit à des études postdoctorales en cinéma à la Hamburg Media School.

Stephanie Blum was born in 1981 in Hamburg, Germany. After High School she starts a trainee program apprenticeship as an editor for documentaries at Spiegel TV GmbH in Hamburg, Berlin and at RTL Television in Berlin. After she finished the program she works as an editor at Spiegel-TV and continues doing so when she begins law school in Hamburg. In October 2006 she begins postgraduate film studies majoring in producing at Hamburg Media School.
