En 2005, la notion de démocratie est mise à l'épreuve en Égypte, historiquement chef de file politique dans la région. À la recherche d'une âme politique pour leur pays, les jeunes réformistes égyptiens et les tenants de la vieille garde s'entredéchirent avec une brutalité sans précédent. Si les contours du changement se profilent à l'horizon, les dictateurs, eux, ne capituleront jamais. Assiste-t-on aux averses avant le beau temps, ou ces conflits sont-ils plutôt les signes avant-coureurs d'une tempête plus dévastatrice?
2005 saw the beginning notions of democracy being tested in Egypt a country with a long history of leading the region. Trying to find its political soul, Egypt 's reformist forces and the Old Guard are clashing with a brutality rarely seen in our history. Change is on the rise; but dictators never surrender. Is it the wave before the calm? Or the one that will send in the storm? This is the exploration.
