En Serbie, il existe 600 bidonvilles de sans-abri, habités principalement par l'ethnie des Roma. À Belgrade seulement, on dénombre 105 de ces agglomérations, dont 17 sont situées dans le quartier de Nouvelle-Belgrade. Le film suit le quotidien de la famille Roma Stankovic, qui vit à l'ombre des gratte-ciel du district 71, en Nouvelle-Belgrade.

Serbia has 600 squatter settlements. In Belgrade there are 105 and in New Belgrade 17. Inhabitans in those settlements are mostly of Roma origin. This film shows the everyday life of the Stankovic Roma family who live behind skyscrapers in Block 71 in New Belgrade .

Ivana Todorovic :
Ivana Todorovic présente ici sa première réalisation en tant qu'étudiante de maîtrise au département d'anthropologie et d'études de la paix de l'Université de Belgrade. Le film a précédemment été diffusé au festival de cinéma Roma « Golden Wheel », en Macédoine, ainsi qu'au festival international de cinéma de Gottingen, en Allemagne.

Ivana Todorovic made her first film Everyday life of Roma children from Block 71 as a graduate student on Anthropology Department and Peace Studies at Belgrade University . This film was shown at the “Golden Wheel” Roma Film Festival in Macedonia and at the Gottingen International Film Festival in Germany .
