Pedro, jeune Argentin de 27 ans, a raison de croire qu'il est né en captivité alors que ses parents étaient prisonniers de la dictature militaire dans les années 1970. Pedro cherche ses racines, et sa famille d'accueil devra subir les contrecoups de sa quête. Bien que le film soit une œuvre de fiction, il témoigne de la vie de 80 enfants retrouvés par le groupe Abuelas. Peut-être est-ce l'histoire de tout enfant né sous la dernière dictature militaire argentine?
This institutional short film tells the story of Pedro, a 27- year old Argentine boy, who might have been born in captivity when his parents were kidnapped during the last military dictatorship that the country faced in 1976. Given that, Pedro's problem concerns the fact of knowing his own roots, and the consequences that this might bear for his foster family.
This is a fictional film, but one which relates to the life of any of the 80 children found by Abuelas, and above all, it can be the story of any Argentine child born during the last military dictatorship.

Nicolas Gil Lavedra :
Nicolas Gil Lavedra est né à Buenos Aires en 1983. Il étudie actuellement le droit à l'Université de Buenos Aires et travaille à la Cour suprême d'Argentine. Il est également étudiant en production cinématographique à la SICA et fondateur d'une petite société de production, Mundaka Films Producciones. Les recettes d' Identité perdue ont été offertes au groupe Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo.
Nicolás Gil Lavedra was born in Buenos Aires ( Argentina ) in 1983. He graduated from High School in 2001. He is now studying Law, in Buenos Aires University . He works in the Supreme National Court . He is studying Production in S.I.C.A (Argentinean Cinematography Syndicate) and he has a small Production Company called Mundaka Films Producciones. He donated all lucrative results from the movie Identidad perdida to Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo.
