Asier Altuna
Né à Bergara en 1969, Asier Altuna a étudié différents aspects de la réalisation au Pays Basque, au Vénézuéla et à Cuba. Il a occupé différents postes au cinéma et à la télévision, avant de co-réaliser les courts métrages Txotx (1997) et 40 ezetz (1999) avec Telmo Esnal, qu'il retrouve pour son premier long métrage Aupa Etxebeste (2004). Il signe en 2003 un premier court métrage en solo, Topeka (2003). Il est également scénariste pour le programme de la ETB, Soringen Iaratza.

Asier Altuna was born in Bergara (Basque Country), in 1969. He started working in the audiovisual world as an electrician. Thanks to the success of his first short film (Txotx), which he directed together with Telmo Esnal, Asier Altuna started producing and writing scripts. Since 2000, he has worked as a scriptwriter for the Basque television Euskal Telebista. In 2005, he directed his first feature film, Aupa Etxebeste!, together with Esnal.
