Although female circumcision has severe consequences on the health of millions of women, families of the victims, and even religious and political personalities seem to organise a great conspiracy around this practice thus contributing to keep it secret. Bilakoro tells the daily life of three women confronted to female circumcision. From Bamako to Paris, Awa, Kadidia and Inna talk about theirs sufferings even under the cultural pressure they endure. Each in her own way is fighting against female circumcision.
