“If you don’t violate someone’s human rights some of the time, you probably aren’t doing you job.” Anonymous CIA (Washington Post – December 26, 2002)
The film is based on a real torture instruction book written by the CIA in the ‘70’s for Latin American dictatorships. Do-it-yourself explores both in a comic and didactical manner different ways to execute without failure various types of successful and charming tortures. Torture is very often disparaged because of its association with dictatorial regimes. But what is really happening in our democracies?
