1984. Nikolaï, a young Soviet musician arrives in Afghanistan like thousands of other conscripts to fight a war that is not his. Absolutely terrified he finds himself in a world torn by violence and death. One day during an operation, he is captured by Commander Massoud’s Moudjaheddins. They carry him into the heart of the mountains where are hidden the Afghan resistance and Vergos, who came clandestinely into Afghanistan.
