Sound rises up from the movement. A real musician must move, and travel. And then he/she will find new sounds. Nömadak TX tells the story of two moving musicians. Travelling with the txalaparta, a unique musical instrument played by two persons. They go to India, Lapland, the Sahara and Mongolia to fuse their music with that of remote nomadic peoples. They travel in search of sounds. And they find those sounds in other nations, in other surroundings, in other cultures. In other peoples who, like them, use music to tell the rest of the world: “We are here, we are alive, and we are who we are.”
