More and more women in Turkey - but also in Turkish migrants host countries - are becoming victims of so-called 'honour killings'. The result of three years of research, Requiem for Women portrays both the victims and the perpetrators of such killings. The film is an outcry for the women we do not hear, we pretend not to have heard.
