North American Premiere

In Burma, the democratic opposition leader and Nobel Prize for Peace, Aung San Suu Kyi, has been confined to her house for twelve of the last seventeen years. She has become a world symbol of pacific resistance sweeping out the existing power’s proposals to free her on the condition that she is expatriate. Over a narrative Jeanne Moreau, the French actress, this film pays tribute to her political gesture.
